Painted Animal NO.3 is an acoustic art panel made from printed PET felt with noise-reducing properties, designed primarily for indoor use.
The product is available in three standard formats: 40 × 60 cm, 80 × 122 cm and 122 × 180 cm, with a fixed material thickness of 20 mm and a production tolerance of ± 2 mm in both height and width.
The material consists of 50 % recycled PET and 50 % new PET felt, specially developed for acoustic regulation in indoor environments. The material cannot form a breeding ground for micro-organisms and supports a healthy indoor climate. The density is 2600 g/m², and the weight is calculated based on the area.
The edges of the acoustic art panel are white and cut sharply and precisely. The print is produced using high-quality print technology, where the colours are cured with UV light for increased durability. The print does not affect the product's acoustic performance.
The sound class of the product is B when installed with brackets, which indicates that it is designed to reduce noise, reverberation and room reverberation in both private and professional environments.
The fire classification is C-s1,d0, which meets the applicable requirements for use in public and private buildings.
The raw material PET felt is tested and certified according to VOC M1 (Indoor Air Quality) and Öko-Tex Standard 100. The material may emit a smell when first used, which disappears after up to a week.
The product can withstand moisture and is not affected by normal variations in humidity. It requires minimal maintenance, and cleaning is done with a lightly damp cloth. The acoustic art panel is designed for a long lifespan and is manufactured in Scandinavia.
The acoustic art panel is suitable for use in private homes, offices, meeting rooms, schools, healthcare environments, and retail and shop interiors.
The product comes with a 20-year warranty.
Please note that the acoustic effect depends on the size, geometry, ceiling height, surfaces, furnishing and other materials of the room. The acoustic art panel contributes to improved room acoustics by reducing reverberation and noise, but the effect will vary from room to room. It should therefore be regarded as a solution that improves the acoustics, without being able to guarantee a specific level of noise reduction.
